Find a starting point that fits.

Sometimes you know exactly what you want to discuss. Sometimes you only know that something needs to change. Both are good reasons to reach out. Foundations Counseling brings individual, relationship and family support together with specialized services for more complex circumstances.

Our Melbourne office welcomes inquiries from individuals, parents, families and referring professionals. We help clarify which service you are asking about, the people involved and the practical steps needed before work begins. A website request does not establish care or confirm an appointment.

Counseling for individuals and relationships.

Ask about individual counseling for children, adolescents and adults, couples counseling and family therapy. Our team’s experience includes work with concerns such as anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional regulation, parenting and relationship difficulties. The right clinician and approach depend on your needs and the service being considered.

The team also describes experience supporting veterans, military families, first responders, LGBTQIA+ individuals and families with special needs. You are welcome to ask about relevant experience, communication preferences and the way a clinician works.

Coaching, advocacy and family transitions.

Life, divorce and co-parenting coaching offer a place to discuss goals, choices, communication and practical next steps. Parent and school advocacy focuses on understanding school support processes and preparing for more productive conversations about accommodations and educational needs.

Specialized family services include supervised visitation, therapeutic visitation, reunification, Guardian ad Litem services, parenting assessments, social investigations and forensic-related inquiries. These services are distinct from one another and may involve particular requirements or a defined professional role. The office will help explain the appropriate route.

Make the practical questions part of the conversation.

Ask about provider fit, location, virtual options, appointment times, fees and insurance before deciding how to proceed. Do not assume that availability or coverage for one service applies to another. Supervised visitation is not covered by insurance.

If you are unsure where to begin, choose “Help me choose” in the guided introduction or call 321-622-8104. Share the broad purpose of your inquiry; private health histories, court records and information about other people belong in the appropriate follow-up process, not a public website form.

Do all services begin with the same intake?

No. Counseling, coaching, visitation, evaluation and GAL inquiries serve different purposes. The office explains the process and requirements for the particular service.

Can I ask about more than one type of support?

Yes. Start by describing the services you wish to discuss. Staff can explain the relevant roles and what needs to be clarified before an appointment is arranged.
